We started off class today with some students presenting their current events. I then collected everyone's current event for credit.
Today in class we did an activity to learn about how the superstitious legend the Friday the 13th got started. We read a couple articles and students filled out a worksheet with six different questions. Students should have turned this in at the end of class whether they were done or not. (except for 1st period who had it assigned as homework and it will be due on Monday.)
We then continued to watch a little more of the Ken Burns documentary that we started watching yesterday. Students filled out another ten facts that they learned from the video and turned that in at the end of class.
DUE: Current Event; last day to turn in progress reports with signatures for extra credit
HW: Begin reviewing for the final exam that will be next week.
