Welcome back everyone! I hope that you all enjoyed your weekend and are feeling refreshed. :)
Today we focused on discovering why history is important to study, explored the nature of history, and prepared to practice historical thinking.
We first began with a quiz that related to our discussion on the "Lunchroom Fight" Activity from Friday.
We then looked at different viewpoints of stories and how they get passed down by writing and sharing the stories from when we were born. Students then used their stories as one of their portions in their "Snapshot Autobiography" Pamphlets that they started to work on in class.
HW:
1. Finish pamphlet that you started in class
2. Interview someone else about one of your 3 events (not your birth story) and fill out the interview sheet.
