Today we learned about regions and the 3 major land regions of Utah.
We took notes on the land regions of utah for the first part of class. Students then were assigned the task to create their own land regions and fill them with the physical features that we learned yesterday. Students created and colored at least two land regions. They then wrote two descriptions explaining their region including its name, physical features, and other identifying characteristics.
DUE: Physical Feature Vocabulary Worksheet (yellow); progress report signatures for extra credit
HW: Land Region Creations; late work (deadline is tomorrow at 3 pm); progress report signatures for extra credit (tomorrow is the last day they will be accepted.)
