Today we began Unit 2 on Geography of Utah.
Today we talked about what physical features are. We defined five physical features (mountains, valleys, rivers, lakes, and deserts). We also looked at maps and identified examples of these physical features in Utah.
Students then were given time to work on the Physical Features Vocabulary Worksheet. (yellow). Most of the students were able to finish this in class, but those who didn't need to finish it for homework.
DUE: Nothing (Progress Report signatures for extra credit.)
HW: Physical Feature Vocabulary Worksheet; Progress Report signatures for extra credit; Late work deadline for the last two weeks is due on Friday.
