Today we finished out geography unit by talking about how people affect the geography and landscape of Utah. We took some notes and had a discussion about irrigation, dams, highways, and railroads.
Students then chose to either write a one page prediction/story or draw a picture about what they think Utah's landscape will look like in 1,000 years. This assignment is due on Monday; but, if students were on task during class today they should have finished or be almost done with this assignment.
DUE: None; progress report signatures for extra credit (tomorrow is the last day these will be accepted)
