Today we started working on our Oral Traditions. Students are working in groups with either a Ute or Navajo Legend (both found in the textbook on page 63). Students are reading and learning their assigned legend. Then they are telling the story of their legend through rock art symbols that they are drawing on their group poster sheet. We will work on these again tomorrow for the first half of class and then we will present our posters to the class.
DUE: None; progress report signatures if students have them for extra credit
HW: None; get progress reports signed for extra credit (last day is Friday); work on missing assignments. All late work is due Friday, March 14 at 3 pm.
