Wednesday, March 27

Today we continued our discussion about explorers. Students went on their own "expedition" by walking around the classroom reading various text excerpts about the Juan Rivera Expedition and the Dominguez - Escalante Expedition. Students had a worksheet of questions to answer for the expedition notes. These questions were due at the end of class.

Once students finished the expedition notes, they had two "What do you think?" questions to answer about the 3 G's (Gold, Glory, and God) and their opinion about the Age of Exploration. Each question needed to have at least 5 sentences in each of their answers. Due Thursday.
