Today students learned about the silver mines in Potosi, Bolivia and how they affected the Indians.
Students worked in groups to read documents to find the main ideas about what Potosi is, what happened there, and some interesting facts about Potosi. Students then switched into new groups and taught each other what they had learned from their articles. The worksheet for this activity was due at the end of class.
