Today we began our new unit about the Native Americans. Today we learned what "Prehistoric" means (people who lived before white explorers and missionaries wrote about them) and the various Indian groups that make up the Prehistoric category. We also looked at different pictures of Native American ruins that are here in Utah.

Students then recorded what they did yesterday with symbols just like the Native Americans used rock art to record their history. (due Thursday)
